Lexi and I were fortunate to participate in a spring spa day at Timberwind over the long weekend. She looks and feels fabulous after her bath! I arrived at the barn just as our barn manager had finished with Adar. He looked so handsome grazing out in the grassy area with his shiny clean coat. Mackenzie generously offered to help me with Lexi. This was our first attempt at a spa day so I had no idea what I was doing or how Lexi would feel about the whole idea, but there’s only one way to find out!
Mackenzie met us in the wash bay. We’re so fortunate to have such a nice facility to utilize. Lexi does have it pretty good! I can only hope to one day have a spring spa day, along with regular massages and pedicures! We started slowly spraying the warm water on her feet, then legs and working our way up. Lexi was so good and not really bothered by it at all. The warm water likely felt nice as it washed the dirt from her deeply soiled coat.
Soaking up the suds. Thank you Mackenzie!!
We used a squeegee to get the majority of the water off, put her cooler on and went out into the warm sun to let her graze while she dried.
